About Camp Trillium

In 2001, Camp Trillium was chosen as Resorts of Ontario’s Charity of choice. Over the years, Resorts of Ontario has had various events and activities to raise awareness with the main support from our Annual Golf Tournament. To date we have donated over $38,000.00 in cash, however, some of our members have stepped up and contributed goods and services as well. The Trillium Childhood Cancer Support Centre offers year-round recreational experiences to bring children with cancer and their families together. The Trillium Centre provides an environment that normalizes relationships
and experiences, helping them in the healing process and enhancing their quality of life. In 2013, Gary O’Neill of Superior Energy Management chose Camp Trillium as the recipient of their annual Doubles Squash Tournament fund raiser. The financial contribution in excess of $6,500.00 is a significant accomplishment, however, Gary believes a larger accomplishment is educating the tournament participants on the great work that Camp Trillium does – providing support to children with cancer and their families. Camp Trillium has a Wish List of items for the property which can be found on their web site identifying items such as recreational equipment (new or used), products and supplies needed to keep the Camp supplied with
their day to day needs. Doug & Dee Howel of Pow Wow Point Lodge spearheaded a collection of items from member properties and donated the goods to Camp Trillium. Please visit the Camp Trillium website to see how you can assist them with their needs.
